About Outdoor Link
History
The outdoors can be a source of recreation, education, and inspiration or a catalyst for growth and change for individuals or teams. These days our lives are generally highly urbanized and it is all too easy for our inherent connection with nature to get a bit stale. At Outdoor Link our philosophy is focused on helping people of all ages explore, enjoy, and reconnect with the natural world and each other. We are mountain guides and outdoor educators, and our mission is to help people explore the outdoors. Whether by hiking or backpacking, rock climbing or mountaineering, or just exploring and enjoying a place, we help individuals and groups connect with the wild.
What we do
The quality of our programs is our top concern. To that end Outdoor Link director Todd Vogel is certified by the American Mountain Guides Association in the fields of rock climbing and alpine mountaineering and he has been a backcountry ski guide since 1986. He is one of the leading instructors in the AMGA's top rope site manager program and has been active in outdoor education since the early 1980s. He has run thousands of outdoor-based programs for hundreds of groups at a wide variety of sites around the world.
Conservation is another one of our core values. By helping people discover and enhance their relationship to and their place within the natural world, we help work for the protection and preservation of wild places.
